Key Societal Guidelines for Capnography During Sedation

More than 40 international societal guidelines now require or recommend capnography monitoring during procedural sedation to improve outcomes.1 The European and American Societies of Anesthesiologists independently gave capnography the highest rating of all monitoring parameters for level of evidence supporting its benefits. 2,3
