Key Societal Guidelines for Capnography During Sedation

More than 40 international societal guidelines now require or recommend capnography monitoring during procedural sedation to improve outcomes.¹ The European and American Societies of Anesthesiologists independently gave capnography the highest rating of all monitoring parameters for level of evidence supporting its benefits. ^2,3
