Terri Hinkley, EdD, MBA, BScN, RN, CAE

Terri Hinkley, EdD, MBA, BScN, RN, CAE, is the chief executive officer of the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses (AMSN) and the Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification Board (MSNCB) Terri has directed AMSN since 2017 and brings an immense amount of experience including 21 years of clinical and industry experience, more than 32 years of acute care nursing as well as seven years of association management leadership experience. Additionally, Terri is a former senior clinical researcher with several degrees. She has achieved her registered nursing (RN) degree from Centennial College, a bachelor of science in nursing (BScN), and an executive master of business administration (MBA) from Athabasca University. She also retains a doctor of education degree (Ed.D) in executive leadership (ELP) human and organizational learning (HOL) from George Washington University.
